Background Replacement
Replace your product's background with a professional AI-generated scene. This is the most popular feature in PixoKit — and the best place to start.

How It Works
- Select a product with at least one image
- Open the Background Replace tab in the generation panel
- Choose a preset template or write a custom prompt
- Click Generate — your new image is ready in about 30 seconds
Preset Templates
PixoKit comes with professionally designed background templates:

Custom Prompts
For full creative control, describe the background you want in plain language.
Example prompts:
- "Minimal marble table with soft morning light and a green plant"
- "Bright kitchen countertop, natural sunlight from a window"
- "Sandy beach at sunset with ocean in the background"
Brand Kit Integration
If you have a Brand Kit set up, the Use my Brand Kit checkbox appears at the bottom of the Background Replace tab — it's on by default. When enabled:
- The Background Style dropdown is locked to your Brand Kit's Active Theme (or Default Background Style) — you'll see a "Set by your Brand Kit" hint
- Your saved Lighting, Color Mood, and Primary/Secondary Brand Colors are injected into the prompt
- The generated image will show a green Brand Kit badge
Uncheck the box to override Brand Kit for a one-off generation — the dropdown unlocks and you can pick any template or write a custom prompt.
Tips for Best Results
- Use high-resolution product images — the AI preserves more detail with better source images
- Products on plain backgrounds are easiest for the AI to isolate and recompose
- Set up your Brand Kit to get consistent lighting and color tones across all your photos
- Be specific in custom prompts — "soft morning light on a wooden table" works better than "nice background"
