Connection Issues

Troubleshoot problems connecting PixoKit to your Shopify store or issues with the app not loading properly.

App Won't Load

If PixoKit shows a blank screen or error when you open it in Shopify admin:

  1. Refresh the page — sometimes the embedded app needs a fresh load
  2. Check your internet connection — the app requires an active connection to work
  3. Try a different browser — clear cache or switch browsers to rule out browser-specific issues
  4. Disable browser extensions — ad blockers or privacy extensions can interfere with embedded Shopify apps

"Store Not Connected" Error

If the app says your store isn't connected:

  1. Reinstall the app — go to the Shopify App Store, find PixoKit, and install it again
  2. Check app permissions — go to Shopify admin > Settings > Apps and sales channels > PixoKit > check that all permissions are granted

Products Not Showing

If the Products page shows "No products found" but you have products in Shopify:

  1. Check that products have images — the app only shows products with at least one image
  2. Check product status — draft products may not appear depending on your settings
  3. Refresh the page — product data is fetched live from Shopify each time

Slow Loading

PixoKit fetches product data live from Shopify. If pages load slowly:

  • Large catalogs (500+ products) may take longer to load
  • Product images are served from Shopify's CDN — image loading speed depends on Shopify
  • Check your network — a slow connection affects the embedded app experience
