Image Quality Tips
Get the best results from PixoKit by following these tips for source images, prompts, and settings.
Source Image Quality
The quality of your AI-generated photos depends heavily on the source image you provide.
Do
- Use high-resolution images — 1000px or larger on the longest side
- Use well-lit product photos — even, diffused lighting works best
- Use plain backgrounds — white, grey, or single-color backgrounds make it easier for the AI to isolate your product
- Center the product — the product should be clearly visible and fill most of the frame
Avoid
- Blurry or low-resolution images — the AI can't add detail that isn't there
- Busy backgrounds — complex backgrounds can confuse the AI when isolating the product
- Multiple products in one image — the AI works best with a single focused product
- Heavy filters or watermarks — these get preserved in the output
Prompt Tips (Background Replacement)
When using custom prompts for background replacement:
- Be specific: "Marble table with soft morning light" works better than "nice background"
- Describe lighting: "warm sunset lighting" or "bright studio light"
- Mention materials: "wooden surface", "concrete floor", "silk fabric"
- Keep it simple: 1-2 sentences is usually enough
